Aircraft and Space Systems

Master degree study field lectured at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, CTU in Prague.

Study field "Aircraft and Space Systems" is orientated to educate and train specialists in the field of aeronautical and space systems and technologies. This education process also provides knowledge from related fields, such as cybernetics, robotics, measurement technologies, and data acquisition and their processing. It is based on both theoretical and practical knowledge and experience learn by working with real and modern avionic and space systems and sensors. It all is accompanied by lecturing modern data acquisition and processing methods and related automatic control and decision-making systems

A basic set of lectures corresponds to obligatory lectures from the study program Cybernetics and Robotics; however, it is aided by courses which are about avionic/space systems and technologies, automatic control systems, inertial and radio based navigation systems, flight aerodynamics and mechanics etc. In a practical part of lectures students can verify their theoretical knowledge in specialized laboratories where they can do specific tasks related with computer simulations and applications with unique measurement, avionic/space hardware and systems. Within master theses students can join research programs of individual departments and thus be included in research teams working on domestic or international industrial/institutional projects.
